Understanding the world's fastest-growing market

Investing in China seems to become a wise way to expand business, enlarge market share in the world and gain economic scale. In recent years, Chinese government implemented a series of policies that encourge investors overseas. However, it is still risky for Western companies, especially SME, to start a business in a country that they are not familiar with. Therefore, a good understanding of Chinese market and policies is of great importance. A communicator who is familiar to both culture, the market and the people is important.

Jim Rogers has said that the 19th century was the British century, the 20th century was the American century and the 21st century will be a century of China. China and Chinese products are everywhere in the world now. As William Rees-Mogg said in his article in Times 'What is the prospect for the dollar? That depends on China. The Euro? China. The oil price? China. Industrial commodities? China. Global equity markets? China', the absolute size of China and the openness of Chinese economy together with the marginal changes attributable to China determine that China will have significant effect on the world.

It is known that opportunities are everywhere in China and the diligence of Chinese employees ensures the contunity of its economy growth. Jim Rogers suggest parents 'Let your children learn Chinese. This will become the most important language. The most useful skill I can give to my children is Mandarin Chinese.' This point of view is shared by many economists all over the world. David M. Rubenstein, a Co-founder of The Carlyle Group, also said once 'I want my children to learn Chinese. This is very important'.
